According to the Charities Aid Foundation's UK Giving Report 2017, which looks at how individuals give to charity in the UK, the commonest size contribution for a charitable donation or sponsorship is £18 with 61% of people giving to charitable causes in the last year and £33% in the last month.
This interactive session provides participants with an introductory overview of the different ways of raising money from individuals for their projects such as online giving platforms, Gift Aid and running lotteries and quiz type activities at events.
