Join us for a ‘Meet the Funder’ event with BBC Children in Need which is one of the largest sources of funding for organisations working with children and young people aged 0 to 18.

Gemma Brookes from BBC Children in Need, Yorkshire Team will be here to tell you more about their funds, eligibility and how to apply. She will also answer any questions and talk you through the Children in Need Fund's new strategy and funding priorities.

Lorna Lewis from South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau will advise you on other sources of funding and the support available from SYFAB.

Frances Elliott from Barnsley CVS, will be offer support with CVS grants, setting up your group, volunteering, governance and all the help on offer from Barnsley CVS.

There will be time for a Q&A and help with any funding issues you may have.

This event is aimed at voluntary, community and faith-based groups, and social enterprise organisations in Barnsley.

Parking available in front of the Barnsley College Business Centre Building on County Way, Barnsley, S70 2JW for approx. £6 per day. The main doors face County Way Car Park. There is no free parking. The venue is 5-10 minutes walk from the bus and train interchange.
