LAST CHANCE TO BOOK: Sheffield Funding Forum - The basics of funding (Tuesday 28th March 2017)

Posted by Bianca

A FREE event in Sheffield for Sheffield groups and organisations:

This session is aimed at people who are new to fundraising, either as a volunteer with a community group, or a paid worker with a bigger organisation. It is also suitable for newly formed groups, or those who are just setting up. It will go through the basics you need to know to start your fundraising journey.

Keith Levy, from Voluntary Action Sheffield, will speak about what arrangements groups need to have in place to start fundraising - who should be on the committee and how you look after your money.

Bianca King-Smith and Peter Foyle, from SYFAB, will be speaking about the different funding sources and how to decide which ones to approach.

This session is not aimed at those experienced in fundraising.

When:

Tuesday 28th March 2017, 10.00 – 12.00
Venue: Sheffield Quakers Meeting House, 10 St James Street, Sheffield, S1 2EW

The first presentation starts promptly at 10.00. Please arrive from 9.30 to sign in, and network with other organisations.
