You can access training courses from SYFAB to help improve your fundraising skills.

Some of our training is free; other courses have a small charge per place. We can also provide specific training tailored to the needs of your organisation. Please contact us for more information on commissioning SYFAB training.

Training courses and events we can offer

SYFAB runs one day and half-day courses and workshops on a wide range of topics including:

• Introduction to Funding
• Developing a fundraising strategy
• Applying to charitable trusts
• Writing better funding applications
• Big Lottery Fund form filling

We can also arrange and run special events about funding for voluntary and community organisations. For example, we have run Funding Fairs, 'Meet the Funder' sessions, funding advice surgery sessions, and funding conferences.
