IT Project
The Bureau's IT Project has developed resources and guides to help voluntary and community groups access and get the best out of some of the key websites and IT based tools for funding information. Tutorials - Finding and Researching Funders Online
Our new set of online tutorials are now available. The tutorials will give you the information and help you learn the skills to find useful information on funders and save time in your research. These tutorials are currently being run as a guided online course. People on the course can work through the materials in short sections each week with additional support and tips from SYFAB along the way. For upcoming dates of this and other online courses, please contact Danny.

The basic tutorials and the guide are also available and free to access now on the new SYFAB Get Connected to Funding blog at syfab.wordpress.com. You can work through them at your own pace. These are just the basic tutorials - the email and online course will offer additional materials and more resources than you get on the blog. Software
SIFT, the SYFAB Internet Funding Toolkit, is SYFAB's simple application that helps groups find funding information and get the best from the funding resources available on the internet.
From March 2008, SIFT is no longer available to new subscribers. SYFAB are working on major new developments to our Information Service that will combine the depth of research of a SYFAB funding search with the ease of use and on-demand nature of SIFT. We plan to launch the final version of this new service by the end of 2008.
