Includes sections about Yorkshire in general, and South Yorkshire specifically. The Grant-Making Trusts CD Rom 2004 DSC in association with Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), 4th edition, 2004, £141.00 Details of 4,250 trusts listed in the Guides to the Major Trusts; the four Guides to the Local Trusts; the Directory of Grant Making Trusts and A Guide to Scottish Trusts. Includes a search engine developed by FunderFinder. FunderFinder A computer software package that helps to identify charitable trusts (and other funders) that make grants to organisations in the voluntary sector. There is an annual subscription fee. FunderFinder needs to be used alongside the funding directories or the trustfunding website. It now has hyperlinks to the trustfunding website, very useful for groups who subscribe to both. Includes grant programmes only open to the voluntary sector and departmental initiatives to pilot new approaches. The Arts Funding Guide by Susan Forrester & David Lloyd, DSC, 6th edition, £18.95 Information on the four national Arts Councils, the Film Council and their Lottery funding policies as well as the new regional arrangements in England for the arts, film, museums, galleries and archives. It also details other art funders including trusts and companies. South Asian Funding in the UK by Karina Holly & Zerbanoo Gifford, DSC, 1999, £9.95 Useful small book looking at the growth of South Asian philanthropy in the UK, and listing 76 charitable trusts with a South Asian connection. Environmental Funding Guide by Susan Forrester & David Casson, DSC, 3rd edition, 1998, £12.50 Government funding thoroughly covered as well as companies, trusts and award schemes. Directory of American Grantmakers that fund charitable organisations and individuals outside the USA Chapel & York in association with DSC, 2nd edition, 2002, £45 Includes details of both US foundations and companies that have international interests in their guidelines, or have given internationally.
